Lauren & Dave: Engaged!

Lauren and Dave are getting married next May at the Pratt Library, and I couldn't be more excited! These two, who met while working at a civil engineering firm (Lauren has her degree in Urban Planning) put a lot of thought into where they wanted to do their engagement session, and came up with the fantastic idea to do it in Woodberry. We had a lot of fun exploring this funky neighborhood and it's now on the top of my list for urban photo sessions! Thanks, Lauren and Dave, can't wait for your wedding in May!

Erin & Nick: Sneak Peak!

I was honored to be a part of Erin and Nick's wedding yesterday at Mountain Branch Golf & Grill. Erin and Nick are one of the happiest couples I've had the privilege to know and work with. Erin was absolutely glowing with sheer joy all day, and you can tell from the way Nick looks at her that he knows how lucky he is. Lori & Melissa: Married!

Last week, my friends and neighbors Lori and Melissa honored me by asking me to document their wedding at the DC Superior Court. I once heard a wedding toast about how the bride and groom were perfect "complements." This couldn't be more true of Lori and Melissa. When either one of them was feeling anxious, the other was calm and reassuring. We had such fun, just waiting for their ceremony. After the ceremony, we headed out to the streets of DC, where they braved one of the last hot days of summer to get a few "Just Married" shots.

Last weekend I had the honor of photographing Jocelyn & Brian's wedding at the Lodge at Little Seneca Creek, in Montgomery County. It was a flawless event, coordinated by Courtney Swierczek of A Sweet Soiree. Jocelyn was absolutely glowing, and the groom couldn't have been more smitten.
