Eryn & Jill's Family Session

These beautiful little girls are going to be Little Bo Peep and her sheep for Halloween, and if that doesn't make you giggle, then I don't know what will. We had a wonderful session at their beautiful home, and even walked down to a nearby school to get some shots there too. Enjoy!

Sunshine on a cloudy day

The day I photographed this wonderful family, I had a serious case of the cloudy day blahs. Cloudy weather can make for beautiful portrait lighting, but it can also put your photographer in a serious funk. As soon as I arrived at their (beautiful) home, though, my mood picked up! This family is all giggles and joy, and even editing their pictures put a smile on my face. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did :)

Fun in the park

The Ovens were such a fantastic family to work with. Almost two weeks ago now, we held our collective breath and hoped that it wouldn't rain on our Saturday morning session. Sure enough, the rain held out, but the ground was still soggy from the night before. Not to be deterred, we decided to head down the street to the park, where I think we got some great shots of the whole family, and their two precious boys, Thomas and Will. This session was also memorable because I got Thomas' seal of approval for being "nice"!

Eli - Infant Session

This little cutie-pie is Eli! I know his mom has been anxiously awaiting pictures, so I'll keep it short and let those baby blues speak for themselves!

Ice cream cones

When I was younger, I had a doll named Ice Cream Cone. It may seem like a strange name until you realize that I was instructed to "name her something you like." So naturally, Ice Cream Cone made perfect sense to my little toddler brain. To this day, ice cream cones are still the BEST summer treat. I recently had the chance to photograph this beautiful family and now I have ice cream cones on the brain. The boys were much more interested in finishing up with me so they could get their ice cream cones, and we even gave little Libby her very own, although she wasn't quite sure what to think about it!

Groundhog Day

We've had some great weather lately which means I've been busy taking pictures and getting behind on my blogging! Here are some pictures from Sunday's trip to the park with Carter and Bennett, two adorable and active boys. We had lots of fun, and the boys even spotted a groundhog!
